Woodville Community

A place to potter, learn, train and grow enterprise.

Woodville Community is a 1.2-hectare former Local Authority horticultural site in the Keighley Central ward, West Yorkshire. In 2023, with a £155,000 investment from the Keighley Towns Fund and a huge voluntary effort, we began creating a new identity and purpose for Woodville: a place where activities combining social and environmental purpose with profit-making goals help shape a thriving Green Economy for Keighley and a sustainable, inclusive future for all.

Woodville is a place to access the tools needed to start a journey - whether pottering and improving wellbeing, exploring leisure learning and new hobbies, undertaking training to boost work prospects, or developing enterprise with encouragement and support.

We are a place-based community for ‘doing good’. We provide an accessible, safe environment with workspaces, classrooms, meeting rooms, growing areas, and woodland. Combined with strong IT infrastructure, shared resources, and a mutual support network, Woodville is a place where ambitious minds can shape, develop, and realise their ideas.

“Contributing to a thriving green economy for Keighley’s communities.”
